The Best Career Decision I Made Had Nothing to Do with My Career

For years, I wanted to change my career and could not act on it.
Deep down, I knew I wanted to work with people.
To help them grow, find clarity, and create a better future for themselves.
But whenever that thought appeared, I pushed it aside because I couldn't find enough energy to take action. Looking back, I can see what’s missing; it was my ability to stay with it long enough, to make it real.
Where I was and where I wanted to be had a dark, foggy and non-visible road in between.

I was trying to redesign my life and career on my own, taking action when I had the energy, stopping when I didn't, and wondering why nothing seemed to change.
One day, I decided to take back control of my health, energy, and performance.
Better nutrition. More movement. Less alcohol. Better sleep.
Less tolerance for toxic environments, toxic thinking, and things that consistently drained my energy. I also lost 12 kilos. But that was just one visible, healthy side effect.
The real change was becoming someone who could act on what she wanted, respond to business opportunities faster and adapt when life demanded it!
I always wondered why some people could stay in the game long enough to create the change and growth they are after.
For a long time, I thought the answer was intelligence. Now I'm not convinced that's the whole story.
Problem: We Try to Solve Life with an Exhausted System
Many professionals come to coaching looking for clarity. What I often discover is that they already know what they don't want.
What becomes difficult is creating enough space, energy, and freedom to discover what they do.
To imagine new possibilities. To experiment. To stay with uncertainty long enough having someone by your side, for a new vision to emerge.
And that requires endurance, which is often what they lack.

Solution: What Rafael Nadal Reminded Me
What struck me most was his ability to keep returning despite chronic pain, injuries, and setbacks that would have convinced many people to stop.
One phrase stayed with me:
"Endure one more ball."
And another:
"I'm not a winner. I'm a competitor."
Life doesn't reward every decision immediately.
Sometimes the reward is becoming the kind of person who can stay in the game long enough for the next level.
3 TIPS that will move you forward:

💎 Get clarity on what you want and start building the habits which support that future. Because change needs fuel.
💎 Build endurance. Keep your vision stable and keep going, one ball at a time.
💎 Never stop creating your next version. Growth is all we need as humans.
Before asking what, your next career move should be, ask yourself:
How can I build the physical and mental capacity to create the career I want within the life I want to live?
Lately, I've been exploring the relationship between energy, health, performance, endurance, and career clarity more deeply.
This June, I will be opening space for four professionals who feel stuck, uncertain, or ready for a meaningful life journey.
Through my CAREER CLARITY PROJECT, I help people better understand who they are, what they want next, and how to design a realistic path toward it.
Not necessarily to find a new job tomorrow. But to gain the clarity, confidence, and endurance needed to create their next chapter.
